About the event
Eyeliner: A Cultural History by Zahra Hankir spans from Ancient Egypt to present day, from warding off spirits to beauty standards evolving, this is going to be an interesting one! Eyeliner is such a core part of many people's daily lives, and discovering the history of the mundane and everyday is always eye-opening! We'd love to hear your thoughts on this book and the issue within. You don't have to have a creative background/occupation to attend at all!
Home on Me is a small art business and collective where we champion lesser known artists and seek to educate and diversify within the field. We welcome all and choose books that allow you to engage with the topic so Not to worry, you don't have to read the whole book (or even have read it at all).
